Region 21 members,

This is a brief update to remind you that our May Monthly meeting will be on Tuesday 1st May at The Rose and Crown, Hawridge, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 2UG, 01494 758944. As usual we will start around 7.30pm but for those wanting to eat it is best to arrive earlier.

This month we have an interesting evening planned with Alex Drobnik and the GT3 Register joining us, a talk from David Render on his racing and other driving experiences, and some information being presented on a new classic and supercar event being organised in the region in Chorley Wood in July

Some other 2012 events we have recently been informed of and invited to are:

West Wycombe Park's Vintage, Veteran and Classic Car Event on Sunday 17th June 2012 - Exhibitors will enjoy FREE entry to the House and Park on the day. Places are limited to 200 vehicles so your early response would be appreciated. We are not formally doing this as a region but if you are interested please email: Stephen.Prickett@nationaltrust.org.uk.

Classics on the Green at Tewin. This is an event that Chiltern Region have participated in before and is arranged by the Friends of Tewin . The details are Tewin ClassicsShow - Sunday 19 August 2012, 12.00 to 5.00, Upper Green, Tewin, AL6 0L. An entry is required with a contribution of £4 per vehicle which will secure your ticket for the display and a souvenir badge. If anyone is keen to participate I have the official entry form which I can forward on request.

Our venue location details:

The Rose & Crown is located only a few minutes from the A41 & M25 in the quaint village of Hawridge, which is situated 3 miles from Chesham and 4 miles from Tring and Berkhamsted. The pub's website contact area www.roseandcrownhawridge.co.uk/contact-us/ has detailed information on how to find it.

For those using the good old Ordnance Survey maps, use map 165 and look at map reference 165-949 062 to find the Rose & Crown.

Looking forward to seeing you in May,

The Chiltern Region Committee

Hi,

Are there any plans for R21 to attend the RAF Brize Norton Family Day in September as in previous years?

Regards,

Laurence

Laurence,

At the moment it is not on the list of events we will officially be supporting as a region this year. We have some different events currently planned including the Kop Hill Climb in September. I will put some details in our next monthly news update and also on the forum in the near future. If you do not get our monthly update please send your email contact details to r21@porscheclubgb.com and I will add you to our distribution list

Regards,
Chris
