R21 Club night Venue - NEW VENUE FOR JANUARY

This is a brief update to remind everyone that our January Monthly meeting will be on Tuesday 7th January at our new venue the The Black Horse, The Vale, Chesham, HP5 3NS, which is on the same road out of Chesham about 1.5 miles from our old venue. Details of the pub can be found at http://www.black-horse-inn.co.uk/#!findus/csxp

Our January evening will be a social evening and for those wanting to eat the pub will be providing their normal menu. The pub were very helpful for our first visit in November and welcomed us, and they have similar facilities to our previous location.

Region News

We now have 55 people confirmed for our New Year Dinner on Saturday 11th January and look forward to having another good evening and the Noke Hotel.

There are places available for our planned WOTY in France, which we sent out a separate update for in late December. We will need to have 15 cars signed up by 8th January with deposits paid to make this viable, so if any of you would like to join us please sign up in the next few days.

Club Nights: We have some interesting speakers planned over the first part of 2014

February 4th - Paul Mace from GT Marques who ran the Samsung team with Michael Meadows that won the 2013 UK Porsche Carrera cup series
March - 4th - Lycian Events
April 1st - Pirelli Tyres (tentative)

Future Events:
16th March - Visit to Paul Stevens - joint event with Cambridge and Essex regions.
12th April - visit to De Havilland museum being organised by Jason
9th-13th May - Spring WOTY to France (depending on numbers registered by 8th January)

With this being the last update for 2013 it just remains for us to wish you a happy new year and we look forward to seeing you in 2014.

Would be interested in attending the February talk. My team looked at buying a 997 Cup from GT Marques.
