Region 21 members,

This is a brief update to remind you that our August Monthly meeting will be on Tuesday 6th August at our normal location, The Rose and Crown, Hawridge, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 2UG, 01494 758944. People normally arrive from around 7pm and it is best to come early if you want to have a meal.

Our August evening will be a social evening and hopefully we will have some good weather so we can use the garden area of the pub. In the last few weeks there have been many club events and we hope with the excellent weather you have enjoyed any you participated in.

For those of you who participated in our annual concours at our July club night at Hatfield Ashley has posted them separately on this forum. We had another very good selection of cars and Hatfield Porsche provided some refreshments and supported the whole event.

Our recent combined BBQ with the MG club in Speen was a great afternoon with some very interesting MG's present. Collectively we raised £200 which was donated to the organisers of the Craft Fair, who raised £1356 in total which was donated to the charities they support.

We are actively planning some events for next year including a WOTY that may take place in France and Belgium, and our New Year meal, which we have provisionally booked for Saturday January 11th 2014 at the same venue we have used successfully for the last 2 years "" The Noke Thistle in St Albans. More details about both of these will be publicised soon.

If anyone has ideas on events for next year, either as a potential organiser or attendee please let us know as we are very open to ideas on different venues/speakers etc and now is a good time to discuss any ideas as we put together our plans for 2014.
