We are pleased to advise that our weekend away this year will be based in north Wales at the Royal Oak Hotel, Betws""y-Coed with overnight accommodation on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th May. The hotel gets very good reviews on Trip Advisor and has also been recommended to us by local PCGB members. There will be reserved parking for Porsche cars.

The plan is to meet for drinks and dinner on the Friday evening and after a Welsh breakfast on Saturday you will be free to explore the area. There are some great driving roads nearby "" Llanberis Pass, Nant Francon Pass, Aber Glaslyn Pass and the famous Evo Triangle. We will provide some maps to help you find the best routes. Alternatively there are the north Wales tourist attractions "" Caernarfon Castle, Conwy Castle and the coastal resorts such as Llandudno etc - within an easy driving distance. We will meet up again for drinks and dinner on Saturday evening.
The following special rates per room, based on Dinner Bed and Breakfast, are:

£140.00 per Standard double/twin per night (4 available)
£175.00 per Superior double/twin per night (8 available)
£205.00 per Deluxe double per night (6 available)

The cost for the weekend for two people will therefore vary from £280 to £410 depending upon which room you book.
The rooms are available on a first come first served basis so please book direct with the hotel as soon as possible quoting the Porsche Club weekend. The Royal Oak telephone number is 01690 710219, a £50.00 deposit will be required per room.

I hope you enjoy all the heritage style cast ironwork in the Bistro ,the ornate cast iron canopy around the Stables bar & the glazed cast iron canopy all way round the adjoining Outdoor clothing/pursuits shop--all deisgned ,manufacture & installed by my company many years ago now.

I have just checked with the hotel (11th Feb) and there are currently 6 rooms booked by PCGB members. The hotel are provisionally holding another 6 rooms for us for a further week so if you are considering joining us for this weekend, please book as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about the event just give me a call on 07748 555333

I have just taken a room for my wife and I. Look forward to catching up with people there. We won't be arriving until later Friday (around 9pm?) so may only see you Saturday morning.

Ann and I were early bookers for this so I assume we are one of the six or perhaps more by now. Is there a list of who is going?
