R24 Club night and Events update

Hi Everyone

Just a reminder that its Club Night at the Old Ferryboat on Wednesday the 13th February 2013.

Come along and join us for this our first proper Club night for 2013. We will be having a 'FEELY BAG' competition with a difference! We will also have our normal features NAT (News at Ten) We now have a list of events planned for the 2013 so bring along your diaries. TOM (Tip Of Month) and brother JON (Joke of Night) will both put in an appearance and this is your chance to take centre stage and edify us or make us chuckle. We will also continue with our monthly raffle to raise funds to subsidise events which we can all enjoy. If you have something for the raffle table that will be much appreciated.

The WOTY (Weekend of the Year) 25/26/27 May.

Our Hotel (The Royal Lodge) Symonds Yat, Herefordshire comes highly recommended by both club members and Trip Advisor. Flexible 2/3/4 day bookings and various rooms single/double and cost ranging from £70 - £150 per night for Dinner Bed and Breakfast. As ever its first come first served. The Royal Lodge Hotel will hold our block booking for a limited period. To to ensure your place on the event it is advisable to make your booking/deposit now. Autofarm Visit 2nd February 2013

Johnny McGirl 996 Register Secretary has invited the Region to join a open day at AUTOFARM to kick-start 911 anniversary celebrations. Join in on 2nd February 2013 from 9.30 for 10am. A welcome intro from Josh and Robin and team. A good workshop type visit with plenty to view and of course the silsleeve engine rebuild procedure etc. Catering for all Porsche models a good event for all members to enjoy. Light refreshments will be provided. If you wish to join this event please pre book by e mailing Johnny McGirl at 996@porscheclubgb.com


Drive and Dine event 24th March 2013.

Our host The Crown at Shillington requires advance numbers in order to allocate reserved tables for the Region and a *deposit/booking is required is required to secure you place. You do not need to pre order your choice of menu selection - choose on the day. In Summary:-

Date Sunday - 24th March 2013 - arrive 1130 for Lunch at 1200hrs.
Location The Crown Shillington Country Pub and Restaurant

Auto 2000 Open Day in Bedford - 31 March 2013.

AUTO 2000 open Day is on the 31st March, commencing 11am. If you would like to attend then please RSVP info@porsche-repairs.co.uk A chance to take a look under look under you car and have a quick inspection. Nick will be able to advise on potential issues with your pride and joy, refreshments and a chance to meet other enthusiasts at the start of the season. Auto 200 is located at:-
