Just a reminder that its club night this Wednesday the 9th July 2014. All the usual features for our club night and the weather looks promising so lets have another fine display in our dedicated Porsche parking area.
Kimbolton Castle Country Fayre and Car Show 13th July 2014
Thank you to all those members who have pre booked a space at the Kimbolton show. The club stand is now full so mainly for those attending for the first time a reminder/update of some keys points.
- With over one thousand show vehicles plus visitors to the show local roads will be busy. Show vehicles have a separate entrance and I would suggest you arrive early to avoid the congestion. Previous years experience says 0930 will have you into the showground fairly swiftly. Those arriving after 11am will be redirected to the public parking area.
- All pre booked Porsche cars on the club stand are entered in the concours event. We have various classes most of which have a first and second prize. This is a fun concours and your choice will determine who goes home with the prizes.
- The Banquet. Please bring a dish for the shared Banquet table. Homemade cakes, Quiche, Pies sweet and savory it's your choice. Please bring your own hard and soft drinks. The club will also provide paper plates, knives, forks,spoons and plastic glasses. If you prefer to 'fine dine' please bring your own cutlery since all the plates KFS glasses will be disposable.
PC Cambridge Duxford Event 18th 19 July 2014
Many of you have been contacting me re this event. Please rest assured I will let you have details once I receive them from PC Cambridge. I have spoken with PC Cambridge and they are putting together the finals final arrangements with the IWM Duxford for this show. I hope to be able to bring you the full details at Club night. For those who cannot attend Club night I will be sending out an e mail update.
