Hi All,

Well I'm in a very good mood today, just had a day of Clay Pigeon shooting with the club (which was excellent), followed up with a nice meal and then watching Newcastle win for the first time this season. I'm planning on taking every advantage of this good mood coz that might not happen many times this season! Anyway on with the christmas do...

Last Christmas (don't worry I'm not going to burst into song) we had a January meal out for the club so that we had something to look forward to in the darker months and it went so well we're doing it again in January 2016.

The Date: Saturday 23rd January
The Venue: Hardwick Hall (Best Western Hotel near Sedgefield)
The Meal: 3 course set menu (choice of 3 per course) with tea/coffee afterwards.
The Price: £25 per head.

I announced the meal at the meeting on Wednesday and already have 21 committed members. If you'd like to go please either add to this thread or catch me at the next meeting. I would like all the money by no later than the December meeting.

If you'd like to book a room we can definitely recommend the deluxe rooms we had a couple of years ago. The best western website has some special B&B pre-purchase (i.e. non-refundable) rates on at the moment at this link (click here) I've just booked our room for £109.65, but I have been told the rates may vary as rooms go. And I understand that other well known hotel booking sites also have some good deals.

Any questions please let me know.

Any final instructions for participants ? What time is the meal scheduled for ?
I'm sorry if this was discussed at Wednesday's meeting, but we were unable to get there.
See you all in the bar sometime pm Sat.

Thanks Greg - we will see you there.
Car goes in for its annual service/MOT tomorrow - so if the weather is good we might even give the old girl a runout !

Hi Greg,
Thank you for posting the info, I have only just logged on and thought to do this, doh. I'm glad you're on the ball.
See you later.

Chris

Alison and I had a great time. What an excellent way to start 2016. Thanks to Chris and Lynn for organising.

Can somebody upload any photos of Kenny dressed as a Minion? Didn't have my phone on me, so I have no photos, cheers in advance.
