Is there any information available on the state of the show ground at Beamish following the incredible rainfall yesterday evening?
We were at Lumley castle last night which is only a few miles away and had to abandon the car overnight as the entrance road was submerged in over a foot of water, as was most of J63 leading onto the A1.

One of our members is going to inspect the show ground in the next hour, but I am confident that it will be OK

The show ground has now been inspected and is dry and sound under foot all roads are clear and dry and looking at the weather it can only get better
So there are no concerns so we should have a good day

Hi All.

We are disappointed we couldn't make today. We have a poorly FP-let who has needed a lot of TLC over the weekend.

Hope to see you all soon.
