Hi just a quick note to mention we are planning a run on the 6th of April stopping off at Sally's cafe at Warwick Bridge CA4 8RN for a natter over a good coffee and bit of cake. Sally has kindly offered to open exclusively for us on the Sunday. (time to be confirmed)
Wondered if any of our usual friends from over in R18 may like to grab a cuppa and a catch up.
Please advise if you're up for it as Sally needs an idea of numbers.
Regards Greg (R3)

Thanks Barry will let you know nearer the 6th what time we hope to be at Sally's for.
You are the first of many hopefully. Thanks for your support looking forward to it.
Best wishes Greg.

Hi Greg,

Sorry we couldn't make it as we will all be in Troutbeck for a week-however where is Sally's in Warwick Bridge?-we shall be passing through on Friday 14th March on our way via the Military Rd to Whalton to our Daughters-our standard route-stick the BMW in 5th Steptronic manual-& cruise control around 65mph -& watch out for the 2 bad dips[&o].

Warwick Bridge is very familiar to us as at one time my Mum & Dad,Sister & Bro -in -law & our Daughter lived in Wetherall but can't place Sally's.

Could make a suitable coffee stop rather than the M6.

We frequently stop for a meal at the nice Robinsons pub on the RHS just before the straight leading to the Brampton bypass roundabout--big open fire ,stone flag floors & good food, generous portions.

Cheers ,

Colin.

That's right opposite my old house I lived in for a good few years before I moved to Gretna.

Sally's is the old Post Office that closed down last year when they stopped the funding for lots of them.

It has changed there recently with the pub now flattened and replaced with a large Coop with flats above.

Beware of the 2 fixed speed cameras one as you enter from each side as they are becoming a big money earner for the council []

Greg, count us in and I will tell Ruddy, Frenchy and the lads about this

Thanks ,Martin-just googled it & realise why not seen it before as it's down near the textile place off the A69,not on the A69 & haven't been down to the textile place for years

It's right on the main road about 200 yards after the BP petrol station if your coming from Newcastle. There is parking for about 15-20 cars if your careful and more spaces at the newly built Coop which is just beside it.
