Andrew & Julie Beagle (Region 22) are organising a joint drive and have asked if any R3 members would like to join them.

The plan is to start at Sally’s in Warwick Bridge (CA4 8RN) for a cuppa before heading to Brampton, Alston, Hartside and on to Kirby Stephen Rugby Club (CA17 4TF) for a spot of Sunday Lunch.

Times and final details have yet to be confirmed and lunch will need to be pre-ordered to give an idea of numbers for those who wish to join us.

If you are South of our Region why not create your own drive to Kirby Stephen and meet us there for lunch but please don't forget to email your name and food order to beaglesbakes@yahoo.com.

Please see attached menu for details and prices.

Great John, I hope we can get plenty of takers for this. That said most don't need asking twice when it comes to any run that includes a visit to Sally's.

Andy & Julie who are organising this one are a fantastic couple who always support R3, so much so both of them are planning to show at our Regional show at Witton this year.

Ive put it in the calendar Greg but not 100%...supposed to be in Telford on the Saturday at a notoriously unreliable friends BBQ that has 50/50 chance of actually happening...if it does and I can get up the M6 early enough it may still work...just to complicate matters one of the lads who works for me has mentioned this day for a karting trip for his stag preparations?

The upshot is I’ll keep an eye on the arrangements!

Sally's for breakfast then off for a drive with friends rounded off with a beef Sunday lunch, sounds like a perfect day out to me.

Hi Greg, any chance you have the details of the meet point/route....would love to join in but have some logistical challenges as I’m in Telford visiting friends on the Saturday and staying overnight happy to get up early on the Sunday and head up the M6 to meet up with the run...To complicate things on the afternoon i have a colleagues pre-wedding event @ NE Karting. No definite time yet but assuming Will need to be there for around 2pm....would be great to break up the journey home but going to be dependent on time/route.

Hi. Sounds like a good idea ... and Chris says she could come too. We’ll drive over from Middleton to Brough (and hope there isn’t too much gravel from the resurfacing) and on to Kirkby. Does anyone in the South of the region fancy joining us?

We’ll email our food order and wait to hear your timings etc.

Gordon.

Greg,

Newbies definitely up for this. Lunch ordered as requested.

See you all soon

Gary & Michelle

Morning Gary,

Brilliant, straight in well done to you both, looking forward to the catch up, apologies Deb & I didn't get to spend much time with you both on Club night it tends to get rather busy these days.

The day I start even talking about going vegetarian I give every single one of you permission to take me aside and pull the trigger

Haha, coming to the Xmas quiz: how many question-suggestions will there be for which the answer is “vegetarian”!!!!

Meet at Sally's Warwick Bridge, Carlisle CA4 8RN, from 10.00am onwards for a cuppa, the plan is to start the route at 11.00am, so don't be late.

Anyone who wishes to drive over together from the North East, meet as usual at Hexham BP Services, Rotary Way, Hexham NE46 4NU for 9.00am to leave at around 9.15am, if you prefer just head straight to Sally's and we will see you there.

Just to let you all know anyone wants to meet at Kirkby Stephen and just have a meal feel free to drop us a mail look forward to seeing you all on Sunday

Thanks Andy and Julie

Looking at the timings I think I'll arrive from Telford just in time to meet only to then drive back to where I'd normally pull off the M6.

I'll be driving thru Kirkby Stephen to join the A66 on the way back up to the event @NE Karting (@2:30) happy to meet up with the group there and maybe grab a coffee and join those driving back if timings work (….and I can find you all?)
