R3 Track Day 2022

Hi, all track fanatics.

By popular request the 2022 R3 Track Day is to be held on the PCGB's own event at Croft on Wednesday 3rd August.

The format will be similar to last year's with R3 members invited to park together and, weather permitting, there will be a free BBQ for participants (vegetarian choices will be available).

The circuit will open at 7.30am, signing on is between 7.30am – 9.00am and it is essential to bring your driving licence.

A Driver Briefing will be conducted at 8.30am so please make sure you arrive on time to attend this compulsory session. Following sighting laps the day will be 'open pit lane' so you can complete as many laps as you wish. Lunch break will be between 12.30 - 1.30pm with the chequered flag dropping at 5.00pm.

For those new to the track, or wishing to hone their skills, fully trained ARDS instructors will be available on the day, for a small additional charge - best booked in advance.

Croft's static noise limit is 105 dbA

Demand for track time is high so if you're interested then, to guarantee your place, please book your tickets direct from the club web-site as soon as possible.

Raj, I booked it this morning but I left my wallet at home so couldn't complete the order. At lunch time, I popped home to collect it but buy the time I got back to work, it was sold out. Gutted!!!

Hi,

I managed to attend the June 2021 event and was looking forward to booking in 2022. Unfortunately I cannot make the August date so was hoping R3 would have an alternative event when the schedule came out as they did last year. As this August date is now fully subscribed any chance of a second date?

Hello All,

Given that looking through the track day calendar the majority of events appear fully booked within weeks of the calendar opening it would seem there is pent up demand?

Yes I would second and support any proposal to look at adding additional PCGB trackdays.

For R3 members Croft and Knockhill could be done in a day for those not looking to stay overnight so those are favourites! Knockhill appears somehow missing from 22 calendar and I recall it’s normally well attended, not sure why it’s missing….?

Not minded to piggyback Javelin trackdays as not getting on track with juveniles again!
