R31 Christmas dinner. 9th December

Sorry about that Gordon, with the Sun shining I completely forgot. We will be organising prices, menu etc a bit closer to the date.

I know this is early but best to get started. Traditional Christmas lunch Sunday 9th December at The Five Alls in Filkins. The pub has recently been taken over and is being extensively renovated. Any one interested just let me know.

Suffice to say that Sebastian & Lana have promised R31 a meal to remember. They are very keen to impress. More importantly, they have a great track record to back up those promises. The Five Alls is present being extensively renovated and should be open in a few weeks, well in time for our Christmas Feast. We will have dedicated parking on tarmac.

Just to remind everyone that the Cotswold Region will meet at the Feathered Nest next Wednesday 10th. We will be discussing next year's program. Every Club member is welcome. 7 pm if you wish to eat, 8 pm for a chat and a drink. Christmas lunch: This is what Trip Advisor has recently posted about our Christmas Venue: Amazing and the best restaurant in the Cotswolds fabulous....” just what hospitality epitomises. We were lucky enough to have Lana & Sebastian at their previous establishment but their new venture is without a shadow of a doubt is stunning and first class... Food outstanding, decor cosy and the ambience is second to none and we had the best Sunday lunch ever today... Well done and somewhere that would be hard to match on every level ... We will limit the numbers to 26 and Lana has promised a first class and exculsive munch. I'm going just for the roasties and will definitely not order a burger. Despite the increase in quality, we will hold prices to last year's level. If you cannot make our meeting this week, do please let us know if you are interested in Xmas lunch. Derek
