Hi Guys,

Keep your eye on Porsche Post, but you will note that we have an extensive program of visits this year, hopefully to suit all tastes. Here are just a few to wet your appetite:

5 May Cornbury House Open Day hosted (as usual) by R31. We hope to get a few other car clubs to attend. We might add to this a little drive & lunch at the Greedy Goose.

26 May Meet up with Pistonheads at Cotswold Airport/Kemble for brekkie in the AV8 and 'Top Gun' passenger rides in Scottish Aviation Bulldogs (ex RAF aerobatic trainers). I have 3 aeroplanes so far, hope to have a few more more. Bring your cameras. We might arrange some fast rides in our cars. Of course, this event will be open to all, but first come first served. No late bookings!

We also will be arranging an 'Orient Express' type of ride on a steam train (plus lunch) later in the year.

Keep your eye on the Forum.

Hi Derek, The Kemble event on 26 May sounds good. Are there any more details? Is there a thread to register interest? Many thanks, Rich

Hi Rich, So far I have only published this (Porsche Post next edition): Finally, we hope to arrange a rather ambitious trip out to the Cotswold Airport on Sunday May 26. Pistonheads meet with their Exotica at the AV8 restaurant normally on the last Sunday of the month for brekkie: http://www.av8-cotswoldairport.co.uk/. So we thought it a good idea to join them, but at the same time arrange a little flying (weather permitting) for our own members. The format will be: meet for breakfast, then perhaps fly in ex RAF aerobatic trainers in formation. Very Red Arrows stuff. I might also arrange a visit to the last surviving Bristol Britannia at the same time. There will not be a charge for the overall visit, but breakfast will set you back about a fiver (excellent value) and if you wish to fly I will ask you to contribute a token towards petrol for your flight. The true cost would be circa £100 as at present aviation fuel runs at £2.10 per litre. So I think I’ll set the contribution to about forty quid, with an additional voluntary contribution going to the local air ambulance: http://greatwesternairambulance.com/. We of course, as motorists, hope never to use their services, but if we do, we are extremely grateful. Contact me or James if you wish to join us. Let me know also if you require breakfast and/or a flight. First come first served! More details when I get them. But the Britannia is confirmed and so far I have 5 aeroplanes.

Hi Derek Sounds great! I'd new to the club but would love to come. How do i go about registering? Hopefully meet up with some of you at the St George rally tomorrow or failing that the next monthly meet :D

You will see (and probabley hear) Derek at the Rally tomorrow. As my No.2 he will be easy to recognise and as he is 'Sweeper' he will be last car away. Gepoff Ives Rally Organiser.
