R6 "Porsches on the Prom": 17 April

In view of the R6 RO's preferance for having all cars in place on the esplanade by 1100 (and the likeleyhood of unpredictable delays due to roadworks on the A55), the previously announced arrangement for an R5 convoy drive, starting at 1045 from the M6 Knutsford Services, has been abandoned. Instead we will now rendezvous at 1045 at the eastern end of the seafront at Llandudno, ready to drive as an R5 group to the entry point to the esplanade opposite the George Hotel. NB If there is any risk of your car depositing even the minutest amount of oil on the esplanade, please use a drip tray of some sort, as the local Council recently fined another car club £700.00 for precisely that offence!

Thanks for this posting Barry - I had a sudden realisation that I should have said what you have just said above about the change from Knutsford services, for anyone who was not at The Deanwater on Wednesday.

As for the oil - blimey, I'll bring my tray!!!
