Ian & Sharon,

We had an excellent evening last night, shame we had to leave early to relieve the baby sitter. Brilliantly organised!

I think there was one thank you missing from your post diner talk, you didn't thank yourself for doing a brilliant job as RO. I am sure that everyone would agree that the region is really thriving and you have earned a well deserved pat on the back, so I raise my glass.

Long may it continue to do so and this year certainly has another calendar of interesting events lined up[

Well done for a great event--it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, food was good the venue the right size, etc and the little touches of the place finders with a reminder of what had been ordered the symbols --esp. the moose and the mouse on our table great fun, I am sure for those who stayed over it went on into the morning.

Thanks to everyone for their comments, to Strasse and Mike Lumb for the raffle prizes and to Doug for taking care of the music.

Changing the venue, time and date from what everyone had been used to was a bit of a risk and we were anxious to make sure that everything worked out. We are absolutely delighted with the feedback we have recieved, not only on the forum but in e-mails and from speaking to people during the evening and the following morning - it makes the effort worthwhile.

Looks like we've set a benchmark for future years!
