The Karting evening has been fixed for Thursday 24th March.

The evening kicks off at 7.00pm for a 7.30 start and we will be doing a grand prix event which gives us a 5 minute practice followed by 3 heats per driver and finals for a cost of £35 per driver.

The event is being held at Raceway Karting (www.racewaykarting.co.uk) who are located at Tavern Works, Skinner Lane, Pontefract WF8 1HG which is a couple of minutes from J32 of the M62.

If you would still like to join us and haven't signed up then please let me know.

Count me in, either night and Grand Prix race. Better lose some lbs. power to weight ratio etc. is crucial. Hmmm, maybe start next week. Geoff

Thanks to Geoff for pointing out the dates are wrong. It should read 17th or 24th March and not April! I will be bringing something very lardy to the next couple of club nights to get your weight up.

If subs are allowed, I'll sign up with my son driving. Don't worry, he's not a professional and he's taller than me. Paul.

Put Marlies and I down for this Mark [;)] Any date. I'd prefer a Grand Prix too if poss, they are much better!

So far I have booked for 13 people and paid a non returnable deposit of £10 per person, so please come along.

Why do they do that? I once found my laptop monitor cable filed away in a box in a cupboard in the attick? Glad everyone had a good time, it was fun but my arms still ache! Well done Lee for winning.

Yes a good night, Michael and I both enjoyed it especially when Michaels kart went up in smoke!! Thanks for organising it Mark Chris
