We have been looking into book a Saturday morning at Tockwith Motorsports Skid Pan. The cost would be £35 per person and we need a minimum of 8 people to make it viable. Once again we have a choice of dates, either Saturday 16th April or Saturday 30th April.

If you are interested sign up and indicate a choice of date. Once we have enough people we will get it booked.

Morning peeps, I was at Tockwith last year instructing and the skid pan we were using was very greasy/oily and the resultant mess on the cars wasent good []

I dont know if its the same skid pan you are planning to use ***and it may well not be***, but if it is and you use your own cars, you have neen warned [;)]

Thanks for the heads up Glen.

Any one know about likelihood of being same pan/ using our own cars etc.?

If and I repeat, if, its the same skid pan, very messy indeed, no way I would put my car on it, we driving an old BMW 3series used specifically for the job......

Must admit went to Tockwith last year to see if new track was any good for a trackday ( it wasn't!) but the whole set up is a bit of a shambles and seems low rent compared to other motorsport venues. Only my opinion though!!!

Ps What you want Glen is to get that Gt3 on there for a good blathering. It would be extra nice if you could walk old sump oil onto the carpets as well!!![:D]

My GT3 gets regularly blathered ill have you know Chris, a bit like its owner [:)]

Seriously tho, Chris's description of the set up is very accurate....
