October's Sunday Service will be the last one of 2016 [:(]

So for October we will be using the car park at the top of Sutton Bank (YO7 2EH).

This is the same day as the Specialist Cars of Malton Big Breakfast which we obviously don't want to detract from, so there are a couple of options:

1. Bacon butties as normal.
2. Cake instead as some may have already par-taken of the bacon.

I also think on this occasion it would be good to have a voluntary donation bucket for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, so supporting the same charity as the big breakfast.

So if you are coming, could you please express a preference and we will go with the majority.

The only caveat is that, given we are now in October, if it is torrential we will be staying in bed!

Wife is on bed rest after an op but all being well I will be getting a pass for a trip out. Plan would be early arrival at Malton & leave before things get too loud, then on to Sutton Bank so my vote would be for cake (subject to weather!).

Would a non Yorkshire-man (North east member) be welcome? As long as its not horrendous weather ill be at Malton first thing and sutton bank is on the way home for us. Ill be with the misses, GT3 RS and 981 Cayman.

What sort of time would you guys be meeting and expecting to be at sutton until?

Ian

Count me in
Cake ok
Will bring an umbrella!!
Collection bucket a good idea.
Inverted - does that mean you would prefer 'upside down' cake? Normally 11.00 when we get there - length of time there depends on the weather
Peter

Sorry can't make this one as we are away overnight in Doncaster to see 10 CC.

Hi Ian,

We welcome all Club members from whatever Region but not at the same time [:D]

As Peter said we are usually there for 11.00.

Hi Mark & Carol
Elaine and I intend to be at Sutton Bank via Malton hopefully.
Our preference is bacon butty.
We looking forward to seeing you and everyone else.

Hi Mark, Carol and Dan
just a note to thank you for organising the R7 Sunday Services during the year. We have enjoyed those we've attended including today's rather wet one. Not only do you organise the events, transport all the gear, prepare the food, clear up and then sort out the equipment for the next time. At times it must feel like a thankless task, however, Elaine and I and I'm sure many others very much appreciate what you do. Maybe next year you might want to recruite members to assist, perhaps with people willing to help at specific events. You can count us in.
Thanks again
Roger and Elaine
