Enjoy a pleasant drive through the Yorkshire Wolds on some roads that you wouldn't normally venture down [] ,anyone who entered the original Wolds Wanders will know what to expect.
The Sunday morning kicks off with Bacon butties/tea/coffee (£5 per head) from 9.00am at The Star at Sancton. We then head out on a purely pleasure drive across the Yorkshire Wolds, stopping mid way at Burton Agnes before wending our way to Malton for Sunday lunch at the Talbot Hotel (£20 per head for 2 courses, £25 for 3).
Andrew Warner put together some truly stunning roads which you may not believe are suitable for our cars, but which I can guarantee are and you will love; who would have guessed that the surfaces on farm tracks could be so perfect. Although the run is purely for pleasure the directions are in the form of a tulip route, but if a 10 year old can navigate you will have no problems, so don't be put off.
We have space for up to 60 for lunch, so please sign up specifying which bits of day you want, bacon butties, lunch and/or the drive.
