R7 Wolds Wander, Sunday 12th May 2019
Hello everyone, my first event with R7, it is a return of the popular 'Wolds Wander' that Mark ran a few years ago.
For those that have been asking about the Wolds wander photographs I have finally returned to the UK after three weeks in Europe, the pictures are now available on the group Facebook page and the original 2019 R7 Wolds wander post in the forum.
These are all quite low resolution versions but if you wish to have a large image please drop me a line.

Details for this event are as follows:
1. Meeting at 9:00 for a 10:00 departure, please note early start.
2. Start Location: The Star Inn Sancton Post YO43 4QP

4. Format of the day: Meet and greet at The Star Inn for the distribution of tulip maps. There will be tea, coffee and bacon rolls before we set off, please arrive in good time.
The drive explores the scenic byways of the Yorkshire Wolds avoiding major roads to take advantage of the beautiful landscape.
The first leg will be approximately two and a quarter hours, it wends its way to our break at Burton Agnes Hall. Here we will have around one hour to browse the shop and partake in coffee and cake.
We depart Burton Agnes for part two of our drive, just over an hour to the Talbot Hotel Malton. Post Code YO17 7AJ

Our tables are reserved for 2:30
Starting at the newly refurbished Star Inn at Sancton, our hosts Ben and Lindsey have agreed to prepare tea, coffee and bacon butties from 9:00 am, the price for the breakfast roll and a drink is £7.50 per person. They have a comprehensive range of coffees and various teas. As we have fifty names for breakfast I encourage you to arrive promptly, we should be ready to set off by 10 am.
The first leg of approximately two hours, wending its way to Burton Agnes Hall, depending on our progress we will have around one hour to browse the shop and partake in coffee and cake should you have any room. For those who have not visited recently, there is a large car park at the rear of the hall and church.
We should depart Burton Agnes for part two of our drive by 12:00 mid-day, it is approximately an hour and twenty minutes to the Talbot Hotel at Malton. A popular Sunday lunch menu is available with the option of two or three courses priced at £20 and £25.50 respectively.
As the R7 Porsche club GB 'Wolds Wander' lunch will have thirty five sitting down, we would like to be able to provide the hotel with the same advance notice. Please let me know your menu choices which I will submit a couple of days beforehand, if anyone is unable to make the run on the day, I will be able to make amendments that morning.
