R7 WOTY Nent Hall - 11th October

This year we return to cumbria and hopefully stay dry this time.

We will meet up Saturday morning for a drive up on great roads stopping for lunch. Dinner together on the Saturday night and then a drive on the Sunday morning.

We have reserved 12 rooms which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The cost will be £120 for dinner, bed & breakfast per double room so contact the hotel direct on 01434 381584 and book for the Porsche Club event in October, and then let me you have booked.

Jane and I have just booked a twin room as all the allocated doubles have been taken.

It looks a lovely hotel in a great location surrounded by fabulous driving roads.

Does that make it thirteen couples now?

We would like to express our thanks to Mark and Carol for organising this year's WOTY.
We had a great time with all of our friends.
It's great to be a part of this fantastic group of like minded people.

Looking forward to next year's trip.
I guess a planning committee will need to be convened soon.

It's all down to the people who are there and some great roads. So huge thanks to Doug for coming up with them. It was so nice to be able to use the Sunday's roads this time. Really enjoyed the run down from Alston in the sunshine.

Thanks Mark, Carol and Doug for a lovely weekend. Weren't we lucky with the weather, it made for some excellent scenery. Linda and I had a great time with you all but we did do our own thing on Sunday as Linda felt a bit Moby after the run up on Saturday.
We had a steady run to Housesteads, a Roman fort on Hadrians wall then meandered home with a stop at a nice pub for a late Sunday lunch. Got home at about 6.00 after having another great day.

Thanks to everyone for your company.

Chris and Linda
