Raby Castle show and shine entry

Its that time of the year again when I need your details if you wish to take part in the show and shine at our annual Raby Castle event.

If you haven't taken part before this is a perfect opportunity to try. We have a nice relaxed atmosphere and don't judge to seriously as in a full concours competition so you could be in with a chance.

Staff from Specialist cars do the judging and will award prizes accordingly.

Please place a few lines on this thread if you wish to take part and I will contact you, or if you wish you can contact me directly at nick@stevenson3814.fsnet.co.uk

Come on folks we need your support.

Cheers[:D]

Hi Nick
Seeing as I don't get my car serviced at Specialist Cars of Malton and therefore stand no chance of being placed in the concours (joke, of course), I'll leave it up to you this year if you want my car to make the numbers up, either concours or or the other one where the kids can climb all over them, or neither as the case may be. Which ever is fine by me
Regards
Alan

Hi Geert
You'd probably win, with all the work you've now done on it and having the correct wheels fitted at last (also the car used to belong to Specialist Cars of Malton at one time, not that that would make an difference of course -------- another joke).
You would be most welcome of course, but I suspect your busy schedule will not allow it. If you could come, Pat and I would be very happy for you to stay at our house
Regards
Alan

If only that were true Alan. I don't think I've won anything for a long time, not even placed at Harewood.
I must be greasing the wrong palms.[;)]

Yes Martin thats surprising, given the condition of your car. There must have been stiff opposition. Maybe Mike J will be in a better frame of mind in September, given his winning form on the track recently

It wasn't a suprise if you saw them, real concours cars, mine looks ok for a car thats used a fair bit but it's starting to look its age a bit now and I don't have the time, inclination or money to get it to that sort of standard.
If it was that good I probably wouldn't want to drive it much and what's the point of that.
See you at the meeting tomorrow if your there.

Well its not long now, we have seven in for the show and shine now which is good, is there anyone else??

Actually the way the weather has been going I think we will judge boats as well if anyone wants to bring one down [:D][:D][][;)]
