RABY CASTLE

Hi Andrew,

Irene and I are planning to go there for the day. Those coming from the south of the region normally meet at Ferrybridge services and drive up in convoy.

I am not sure what time we will meet but usually it is about 09h30 or 10h00. Keep checking this forum for an update

Regards

Adam

We're planning to go, weather permitting, but we usuallly set off later than the convoy to minimise the kennel time for our dogs!

Probably aim to be there for 12.30?

Let us know you are Yorkshire region when you arrive and we will make sure you get parked together, I know how you guys like your picnics [:D]

Hi Andrew,
Mags and I will be going, so will see you at Ferrybridge if you are joining the convoy.

Regards

I'm watching the weather before I commit

I'm sure it will get better.....

What time at Ferrybridge services?

Guys,

Weather forecast for tomorrow is "light showers" however as today's was "cloudy" I am not placing too much reliance on that!!!!!

Think we shall pass on this one ( reluctantly) as the TIPEC monsoon is all too clear in my memory - hopefully next weekend will be better for Silverstone.

Hope that anyone who is going has a good day and that the forecast turns out to be wrong - in which case I will kick myself.

Andrew

Oh Ye of little faith
It's going to be lovely weather tomorrow

Certainly want to be there - however have had a dire summer - car not been out for 10 weeks!

Are you and Jane appearing at Clifton Moor tomorrow a.m. ?

Andrew W.

Just me I fear, too early for Lady Jane. I'm coming for the drive and will peal off somewhere on route; to be decided.

Paul.

Shame Jane won't be there - equally a shame you are not going up to Raby - I understand that it is a really good venue - hopefully see you tomorrow.

Andrew W.

Just back after an eventful day!

Thanks to NE team for a really good event and to all who supported esp. ScofM.

2 quick questions.

1. Richard - did you get home okay after the tyre prob?

2. Paul - where did you disappear to ?

Andrew W.

Andrew

Posting on behalf of my dad Richard, I can report that everything is fine. I was with him with a wheel and trolley jack by 11, and he was home by 12.

A pair of new tyres has been ordered this morning, so the car will be sorted very soon.

Paul/Richard

Good to hear - what it is to have an emergency store of wheels and tyres! You were both missed yesterday.

Was there something in tyre? - it looked to me as though the side wall had just blown out - good job it was low speed - weren't original tyres at 28K but how old were they?

Now then what happened to the other Paul ?

Andrew W.

Andrew,

Paul on behalf of Richard again.

The tyre damage was caused by debris in the road which pierced the side wall.
A new pair are being put on tomorrow.

As a matter of interest where did you have your wheel alignement done after the new dampers / springs were fitted to your car?
