Hi all, Just picked up the latest ticket deals info from HQ and theres an interesting looking meeting on 11th May at Silverstone - most importantly drivers get in free if in a Porsche so being a tight-wad that enough for me.

" Silverstone Sunday 11th May (Michelin Porsche Club Championship/Michelin Porsche Open

Drivers get in free providing you are driving a Porsche. Other occupants have to pay. Children 15 years and younger are usually free but I haven't been able to get this confirmed."

I guess we could meet somewhere beforehand and travel up together or just meet there if anyone knows a good location within the track.

Best Regards, Simon

Hello ' tight-wad'

This could be interesting, but don' t as yet know what I am doing on Sunday.
Do you have any ideas on timing ? Start/finish/meeting time etc.
M1/M40 are my chosen routes.

Just thought I would put my t' penneth in

If it' s anything like Oulton Park, practice usually starts around 9am with the racing proper starting after lunch, usually @ 13:15. the last race will be around 17:30.

I have just checked the fixtures to see what' s on as well as the Porsches and the web site is pretty pants

all it says for Sunday is BRSCC Campionship cars, this could be anything from Alfa Romeos to Xtreme Minis. with every other class of car you can think of in between.

Hope this helps.
