A slightly different event to usual, if anyone fancies a weekend away or even visiting for the day.

Race Retro is billed as covering all aspects of historic motorsport, the show promises you stunning cars on display as well as breath taking live action, alongside the latest vehicles added to their auction line-up as well as a few famous faces joining them over the weekend. Ticket options start from just £20.00

Lots of hotel options around this area if you choose to stay over, one of which, the Citrus hotel is a fairly basic travelodge type hotel, Deb and I have stayed here before and it's not far away from the venue. It was clean and the food was good and above all excellent value for money.

They currently have offers through Booking.com. Listing dinner B&B for the Saturday evening for two people starting from as little as £74.48 along with plenty of other prices and options.

I am thinking of travelling down late Friday afternoon to allow a full day at the show on the Saturday if anyone is interested in heading down for this.

So if you feel the need the need for speed, see Race Retro for more details and info.

Hi Greg/Deb

Provisional yes from myself and Michelle whom is now a bona fide PCGB member. Have booked 1 night DB&B fri/sat at the Citrus Hotel.

Just have to sort a couple of things before confirmation.
