Did anyone try the RaceGlaze wash & polish products?
Any feedback?

Thanks in advance

I haven't used it on my 993, but I did use it to very good effect on my old TVR. It had previously been sat outside for most of the winter 2005 and summer 2006, during which time the paint deteriorated really badly with oxidisation. I sold the car in November last year, but just before it drove away I gave it a mop with some cutting agent, then polished it all up with Raceglaze. I ha ve to say, the result was very impressive and really brought the paint back with a lustrous shine. The chap who bought the car couldn't beleive it - he'd bought it pre-polish and I'd got guilty in hte meantime! I'd recommend it - there certainly doesn't seem to be much wrong with it at all. But I have to confess I use Swissol on the 993...

I use the Race Glaze shampoo for my silver Boxster and previously I had a black BMW where i found that the only shampoo which did not leave a streaky finish even in hot weather was the race Glaze. My husband has used Zymol but he finds the Race Glaze polish much easier to wax off and it gives as good a finish.
Hope this helps
Tracy

I've just bought the sample kit, at £5 plud £3 postage. I've not tried it as yet, but a few initial observations...

the wax smells like Mr Sheen furniture polish - i wonder what else is in there bar the carnauba - silicones ??

the bumper/tyre gel smells and looks like the Mer one you can buy in Hellfrauds - decent enough performer in itself from past experience on a banger runaround

I won;t be bothering trying it on the Boxster, and at this point I'm certainly not departing from my 11 years of Zymol experience, but for the money it'll be worth a trial on the daily oil burner
