Hello all, a while since I posted. Still putting miles on the CGT and loving it.
Some advice please
The radiator fan cuts in after I have parked up. Normally it should do this if the engine is hot and until about 2 months ago it was doing that. A couple of times over the last two months I have come to start the car but the battery is very flat. I have tracked this down to the rad fan starting even when cold. Temporary solve is to remove earth strap on battery whilst parked. Hardly elegant.
i have looked at the circuit and see not only the regular temp. cut in switch but also the temperature time switch which I guess kept the fan running on a hot engine when I locked it up in the garage.
Before I go taking bits off the car has anyone else had a similar problem and can anyone recommend a fix?
