Radiator gushing

Doh, finally get the 944 back in one piece, engine running again and ready for an MOT and the radiator springs a leak.

so, any point in getting a used one? Or just get a new one? There seems to be a range of prices out there.

I paid about £220 for one from Advanced Radiators in Newcastle and it had the Porsche stamp and part number half-arsedly ground off.

if I was to buy another then it'd probably be one of the all-aluminium ones from eBay that seem less money and less likely to fail. I've heard good reports about them too but most are a Turbo figment I believe.

I had been getting major radiator problems. I had fitted a used one from a good vendor but it happened again. I got a new one off e-Bay for about £100 and haven't had a problem since. 2 years ago.

Bit of thread resurrection, but have finally had time to get round to fixing this. Got the old one out eventually. Looks like it leaked before and had some gunk put in it.

Anyone so as I see it there are two options, the Advanced rads from Newcastle option, nice and cheap and know it will fit, but Dave says he would do it again so worried.

The eBay ones (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aluminum-radiator-for-PORSCHE-944-2-5L-2-7L-Manual-1985-1991-/121690611358?fits=Car+Make%3APorsche%7CModel%3A944&hash=item1c55535e9e:g:YSgAAOSwPcVVkEhL) but they seem to be huge, at 100mm thick, can't see it fitting to be honest.

Any thoughts?
