Radiator plug

I was just informed that radiator plugs for 944 turbos are no longer available. I really need one to put my car back together. Anyone know the thread size etc so I can source one elsewhere?

My old one snapped when I tried removing it. Can I seal the hole shut? I can drain by removing the bottom hose I think.
