Radio Blanking Plate

Timmy

New member
Hi

I've tried the search function but nothing was returned so does anyone have a blanking panel for the radio hole they would like to sell or can I still get one from the factory?

I'm going to ditch the player and replace the door panels (from Southbound I assume - anyone done this?) so it's nearly back to standard.

Many thanks

Timmy

i will have a look later and see if there is a part number on my blanking plate, fvd.de do the the door panels, might be easier than making some

ORIGINAL: sapex666

I bought one from my main dealer about 2 years. I think it was about £2.50!Couldn't believe how cheap it was.

Bloody hell that is surprising!...May buy one at that price...been using mine as an extra glove box[&:]

I'll check the dealer then, the cheapest part that I've ever fitted by a long way!

Phil, if you could see if there is a part number on it to save messing around I'd much appreciate it [:)]

Oi, I was here first! [:)]

Will, put it on ebay and me and Stewart can bid it up to the price of a set of mags....

£9.99 plus postage - do I get a free barrel of oil with it?

Well spotted though, lets see if it really was the last one available........[;)]

So the 964RS was around £62k new and worth a little less now but the blanking plate was £2.50 and selling (let's see) for £9.99. [8|]

What if I split the entire car up and sell all the bits on e-Bay for 4 x OPC cost? [:D] I could then afford to buy a GT Classics car! [;)]

I'm sure I've seen an insert in a 964RS instead of the radio that is a small open fronted box - could be useful but not on the track - unless I want a face full of sweets, keys and coins under heavy braking! [:D]
