Radio Booster ?

Hi Guys,

Just fixed the Radio switches on my Porsche(Becker) CR11, but the Radio still won't hold any AM stations, it just about holds FM. I am thinking of sending it away to get checked out , when some bright spark suggests it might just be the Radio Booster ?

Any body else experience this ? Where is it and how much does a new one cost ??

By the way the CD changer and Cassette player work OK.

Quite pleased, that even with my limited knownledge of cars that i seem to have fixed it ?? The Booster cable had become detached, once reconnected it works !!

PS My Artic Silver 1997 C2S is also available for the stand at Brands if required

Charlie, I'm having the same problem where was the booster cable located - i was told you have to take the dash out?

be great if it is an easy fix !

Keiran

Keiran,

Once I removed the Radio, I could see the Booster connection, it was attached to the Arial about 5 cms down the cable. Where it goes to I don't know, but it certainly was a tight fit.

Charlie
