Can anyone please help.

Whilst playing either the radio or CD whilst the engine is running there is interference coming through the speakers which increases as the engine is reved? Switch off the engine no interference?

I have had the connections checked and the set changed but still the same. Its been ok for the last 3 years so I don't know whats changed?

The car is fitted with option 680 DSP but am rather lost?

From memory of my mini 30 years ago[:eek:] there is an electrical capacitor in the distributor which suppresses the tendancy of distributors to generate radio interference. This capactor can gradually break down, having no impact on car performance, but making your radio give you auditory info on engine speed. Just a guess....
