Has anybody had the experience of trying to change the original Blaupunkt Symphony RDS tape radio to a modern CD/UBS one.
A recommended installer would be useful. I live in the West country. Had problems with the cars plugs not fitting modern radios,
and have not being able to find a wiring diagram.
Any help would be useful.

When I changed mine I wanted it to be completely reversible. I've got the under-seat amp, which I decided to retain as it would simplify wiring, i.e. no need to run new cables. I cobbled together an adapter lead to convert the car's DIN cable to a dual RCA, that would suit the new head unit. I seem to remember finding the pin-out diagram for the DIN on Rennlist. Let me know if you need any more info. Good luck.

Thanks Guys. Think I've found a local installer who understands the DIN connections and can get some
of the right cables..... Derek
