Hi everyone
Can someone please advise me as to a possible solution to my standard radio in my 987-1 2005 screen periodically not working but sound does then turn it off and on again and it corrects and works properly ??
Regards Steve

Hi Steve. I had a similar problem in the radio would only operate in the engine off mode. Engine running it was intermittent. Bought a replacement on ebay which now works all the time but with no display at all! (known defect when buying the radio a CR22 unit). Swapping faceplates doesn't seem to change anything so am thinking about swapping the front panels altogether. Not much help I'm afraid.

Mel

Hi mel
Thanks for the reply mine is a cr24 and is there anybody that repairs them or do Porsche do a exchange ? Any ideas anybody
Regards Steve

There is a CDR24 on ebay tonight which looks interesting! (no association). Also a company that may be worth a message through ebay (OEM) if you search ebay for CR24. Looks like a replacement radio needs programming into your car. (CANBUS!) I have no knowledge of this so some more research needed - I think.
Good hunting!
Mel.
