Hi, new to club and bought my first Porsche yesterday, Boxster 987.2, 2.9, culmination of a long time ambition. The only non original item is the radio and I want to change it. Not worried about going back to the original, would prefer one that’s wiring compatible but provides Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay, does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you for your help and advice.
 
Hi - lots of options out there - there some Aliexpress units that have original look - not sure about the plug and play - but given you already have no original, there's no guarantee there wasn't some "interference" with original wiring. You can get adapter looms that give you "car plugs to trailing wires" - pretty much any unit can be made to work - harder if you have BOSE or steering wheel controls.

Suggest a look at incartec.co.uk - they have a great system for working out what you need - and they are really helpful folks to deal with.
