RAF LEUCHARS VISIT 13 JUNE

This has now been confirmed as the date by RAF Lauchars. The visit and tour of Leuchars will start at 1245 and should finish around 4 pm. This is a Wednesday afternoon as I am afraid that the RAF only allow guided tours on three weekdays. We have to confirm a minimun of 10 to take part in the tour and it is limited to a maximum of 16 persons. This is an excellent chance to see first hand the RAF's only fighter squadren base in Scotland equipped with Tornado F3 fighters. There will no doubt be aircraft movement that day so bring your cameras along.
I am trying to publicise this event as early as possible to try and get the required numbers. It will work on a first come first served basis and if anyone wishes to take part then post here or contact Grieg or myself directly. If the event is oversubscribed we will collate a list of reserves in case someone cannot make it at the last minute.
so far signed up. About 10 days before the visit we will need a list of names to be supplied to Leuchars for security passes.
1. Me + 1
2. Grieg
3. Kitchens + 1
4. John H
5. Gordon
6. Steve
7. Ali

I'd like to go, but it might clash with holiday arrangements. Put me down as a provisional for now. Just 1 space.
