Had a good day at Ragley to date and did not rain for a change. Meet quite a few from the Yorkshire region.
But hear quite a few bad comments about the que to get in and run out of food and drink?
Hear that we had about 90 928 turne up for the day.

So the club missed out on £1350 worth of revenue based on 90 cars? has anyone got the tin opener for the family sized can of worms [:D]

Neil

Hi Neil,
Not quite true, A lot of us had already bought tickets including me.
Did not see your car or you there today?
Or was it that the 911's had to pay to get in?

Regards
John

Hi John,

I didnt go because I had got some tickets for the Renault weekend at Donnington park. Dont want to "big up" another manufacturer but Porsche should take a leaf out of Renaults book. There event was free to all who applied for tickets including a free funfair for people not into cars. They had a current F1 car there and previous F1's. Lemans cars, rally cars which did laps of Donnington aswel as a static display. There was rounds of Clio cup racing, formula Renault & Megane racing to cater for the motorsport people . The Renault club turned up and had there show there which was a treat. Why cant Porsche AG do something in a similar vein and have PCGB there?

Regards,

Neil Eldred

Hi Neil,
I did fancy going there for the day to watch the racing but had other things planned. I agree with you regarding Porsche doing something similair?

Regards
John

But the queues off the M1 and the A42 looked a lot worse than the Ragley hall ones, all be it slightly closer to home.
