Ragley Hall

Hi All,

I'm assuming you've all got your tickets for Ragley Hall purchased, and now Silverstone is out of the way I'd like to find out what everyone wants at the event.

Currently, we have a large field to park as many cars as we like in, and the promise of a gazebo as a focal point. Beyond that it's rather up to you to tell us what you want, within reason...[;)], and we can see what we can organise.

If sitting around the cars kicking tyres is all you require, that's fine - there is a huge amount to do and see with the rest of the event, but the team are always open to suggestions!

Considering it isn't that far away I'm rather up for tyre kicking myself.

The Sims familly and Mr Cannell are staying in a Travellodge place nearish by, the night before, so could meet up with others prior to the big day.

I recommend we have a "How to dismantle Paul's Rear Brakes" demonstration..

I'm just looking for a (last?) meet up with some mates without too many distractions from just having a laugh to be honest.

I would just like to look at some 944s and meet other owners, any auto jumble and the usual stalls to nose round.

Being a bit ignorant here but when is Ragley Hall on? I'd like to go as I would like to put some faces to the names I see on the forum. Also, can you buy a ticket on the day?

Thanks cococola, the car should be back with me then. Hopefully I won't be away with work. I can then thank some of you guys for helping me find my car.

Look forward to meeting you there creamray

Got my ticket and also required a car space in 944 Register area..although it seems to be coming an event which can't be compared to Silverstone(at least "my car on display" point of view[])..the bonnet is still the same "old and bent" - so it's not lining up+i managed to get 4 nasty scratches on it while drilling holes for them not quite nice looking pins..hopefully i'll manage to cover them somehow for the time of show..windscreen trims have paint damage..also the o/s wing's upper end..at least got a new windscreen in..
The fact is that financial standings are below low..so i have decided to leave the looks for now and take care of some matters far more important - after replacing radiator i soon(last weekend) found myself on the lay by once again - the upper rubber bushes that are meant to hold radiator in place simply didn't do the job(or did i fit them the wrong way?) and the radiator went loose from top end..so friday afternoon on M1 gave the cooling fans plenty of work..result..as the radiator wasn't in right position the fan kept rubbing thermostat>radiator hose and at one point it just went with a big bang + feels like that it's time to replace gearbox mounts as well..things are temporarily under control but it will be a busy weekend..
And last but not the least..i'll have to fit the decals that i got from Rick..i hope there's enough sunshine this weekend..
