Is anyone going to be camping on the Saturday night near Ragley Hall?
Hopefully there will be plent of early cars there, been a bit quiet on the early 911 forum.

Phil,

Was going to check out the site on the back of the Ragley Hall booking form, they have a website so will check this out next week.

Michael

Heard it was turn up and find your register, there is lots of room so no restrictions on numbers.

Michael

There are no dedicated areas, turn up pick your spot and thats it. May pay to get there early, if I camp in the area I`ll try and pick a nice spot. I`ll post some camp site details next week when I`m back at work.

Michael, you are quite right, it's going to be a bun fight, sounds like it might even match the parking shambles at Silvestone.

Some of the attractions we have arranged so far include special Porsche displays including the Birthday Registers (911 S, 928, 944, 964 RS, 968, 996 Sportomatic

I can't wait to see a 996 Sportomatic. So who is organising the 911S birthday display?

Nick,

Hopefully our RS will be there and sort out the 911S display if there is one. I`ll try and make some enquiries and try to get the early 911`s together in a reasonable spot. I did speak to Robin Walker at Silverstone, and there is lots of space at Ragley Hall, so space should not be an issue.

Nick,

I'll try to spend a few hours in the morning meeting, greeting and parking the early cars (if Philip T isn't there). . . but please don't blame me if the lines aren't straight etc [;)].

No doubt Michael will chip in if he isn't on duty in a field somewhere.

If you see any . . . . feel free to chip in as well.

I'd be delighted to Help out aswell, as i expect the autojumble area will be cancelled again.

no i said
"I EXPECT the autojumble will be cancelled"
as it usually is. [:D] infact i can't remember when the national show ACTUALLY managed to have a autojumble as it just dosn't seem to be suported by the members.
i have put in my request for a table but theres not much point if i am the only one there. i'd be better of selling a few bits out of the back(or should i say front) of my car on the relevent register stand.

Hello,
Just joined forum! Visiting UK form California for a few days arriving @ Heathrow 9/09 early afternoon 1pm? How close am I to spend time at the event? Thinking of stopping by if it's not too far off my path as I head up to Newcastle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

Ragley Hall is West of Stratford upon Avon and South of Birmingham. If you travel to Newcastle you will probably drive up the M1 motorway. Stratford is off the M40 which begins just north of Heathrow. Travel time from Heathrow will be around 2 hours at legal speeds and assuming no hold ups.
