Just a note to thank Des for organising the best register display at Ragley 2007.

Cars parked in lines, columns and rows?... No, 964RSs can do circles and bloody good it looked too. If there was an award for most impressive display, it would have been a walk over in my opinion (the 928s looked good too but they did have the advantage of free entry).

Also a big thanks for organising the prize giving ceremony sponsored by Ninemeister.

Nice to meet some new faces, and sorry if I didn't get to talk to everyone.
See you at the next event - where we should organise a register BBQ so we all get fed.

How about a deal... you teach me some track skills, I'll show you how to clean your car properly? [:)]

M something RSR on here?

You may have spotted a red 944 in your mirros for about 50 miles this morning.

I WAS ONLY TRYING TO TELL YOU THAT YOUR SPEEDO IS WRONGLY CALIBRATED. [:)]

I appreciate that you wanted to stick to a safe 70mph but my GPS said that you were very slightly exceeding this occasionally.

A true pleasure to be following, though. Except that my poor old Lux used half a tank of Super in the process....[]

Nice to see a car actually slowing down through the foggy bits, not so much fun when we came across the RS on a trailer with no lights on.....

Thanks Rich, just to say we always put on agood show which is down to ALL of us, we do seem to be going from strength to strength with so many new and old dedicated Register Members. I can not remember seeing so many new faces and to date probably the highest attended Display....counted 24 Cars in total attending...Thanks Guys for supporting this event Mel and I truly appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication to the finest Porsche and certianly the greatest RS ever...long may it last...agree Rich a BBQ would be good next time[:)]

Great to Meet Rick PEARSON (What a Guy and he's a Pro Racer!) from Sud de France great Car and big thanks for donating your prize (furthest travelled) back to the Register....other winners...Rich Claridge Best Presented Car....Andy TAYLOR Most Modified...and big thanks to Colin Belton again from Ninemeister for the great prizes....and Thanks Helen Goff for the impartial judging...thanks Melv again for the support (although you were more back seat on this one)...wish it had been a two dayer anyway, hope you all got home safe....errr what a drive home[X(]

Oh and the 5000 mile Red LWT why it has not sold at 62KÂŁ is beyond me, it will go soon....and thanks Jimbo who finally managed to arrive and did some Body Inspection......[:D]

Thanks Des...very well organised display mate...looking forward to the helicopter pics!

I've posted up some pics of yesterday, links in the 964 or R8 sections..

There are some rs pictures taken from the centre of your display; they all overlap a bit so if someone can be arsed to stick them together in photoshop you will get a massive panorama from the inside of the circle looking out

Can only but echo Des's comments -thanx for the support guys, and thanx Des for your hard work and battering at the walls of Cornbury Towers to make it happen.....[&:]

Oh, and one for the conspiracy theorists -the 964RS Display, the only display with a grassy knoll!![;)]

Well done the CircleMeister! Best display of them all.

Nice to meet up with everybody and put some more faces to names. Thanks for the kind comments about the book - still have some for sale for those who weren't there!
Circle round the 'grassy knoll' was inspired. Well done Des & Mel.

Tony

Thank Des for the cirlce -his idea.

My lad has some pix of the circle taken from the helicopter (top of motorhome) -I'll post 'em once he's up...bl**dy students....[;)]

Great to meet you all, well done Des... got home to neutral soil at 10pm so kinda justified my disappearing at midday, sorry to spoil the circle at that point, looks like Melv filled the gap admirably.
Had a great run out of Ragley back to M40 with an old 911 S (E reg? 69 - 72?) obviously used for historic events, old boy was pushing along although the Infineon had the measure on the straight bits ;-)
The queues to get in when I left where astonishing... took 10 mins just to turn thru the line at the first roundabout!
Cheers again for making a new face welcome!
Rick (Pearson...!)

And thanks again, --- a great day.

I'll have some pics --- let me see if they are worth posting !
