Has anyone organised a convoy along the M69 to Ragley?.. Im heading out reasonably early as Im trying to get there for about 9-ish to get into the 964 display area, but would be a good early morning photo oportunity for a herd of porkers on the motorway.. (assuming herd is the correct term)

Maybe leave Fosse Park around 8:15, Hinkley Junction M69 at 8:25, M6 junction at 8:30, and hit the A46(?) towards the M40 about 8:45??..

If anyones interested let me know and maybe we can organise something before the weekend

Ben

Hi Ben, we'll be heading to Ragley early too but, from Ashby area. i expect we'll go across country and avoid the motorways

fosse park/motorways was just a sugestion so open to idea's if theres a good back route that people want to go on

I'm going down early, also for the 964 register display [8D]

Was planning M1/M42/A435/A422 from J28 M1...

Anywhere near you guys so we can geta few rubber ducks in convoy [:D]

im right in the middle of leicester so will be heading straight down the M69 I think; its a bit early in the morning for me to go too far off track [:D]

I will be leaving at about 7am if you want to join me and help set up! Nobody interested? Dont blame you. I will be busy all day but hope to have set up the region flag and pitch by the time you arrive.

I'm going from Kegworth. Sorry 7.00 am is just a bit too early for me. Will be parking with 924 Register but hope to see you there sometime in the day.

Hi Patrick we'll be leaving ashby about the same time. happy to help you set up the gazebo but can't hang around as got two cars on diffrent displays and have also promised to help there.

I intend to be there before 8(which is why I cant organise the run) but thanks for interest. If you could man region site till Alan gets there it would help as I am the only person from the region to offer to help with the organisation it means I am going to be very busy all day. To paraphrase JFK " ask not what my club can do for me, but what I can do for my club"

Happy to help set up, but, don't think i'll be able to hang about as i've already promised to help out with the parking & setting up on the early 911 register stand. so it rather depends how far the two areas are away from each other. but, i'm sure by the time i leave R8 stand one of the regulars will have arrived to help out. don't worry Patrick R8 members are a good crowd, they will be there when you need them.
i'll pop over at the end of the day to help you pack away if need be. see you there.

Depending on what time I get there, will try and give you a hand Patrick. (Though I doubt it will be anywhere near 8.00am :p)

Will see everyone there either region register, or car registers!

Safe journeys!!
