About a week or so back I noticed that the rear wiper on my pride and joy had developed a habit of operating when not requested.
I don't mind too much as it's normally raining here in the wet West of Scotland, but it gets to be a pain when it's dry.
Worse still, it's not just intermittent in a regular sense, the darn thing will operate once, pause, then wait until it thinks I'm not paying attention - then does it again, sometimes for half an hour. The other mode is when it operates a few times in rapid succession then stop to lie in wait again. It's tiresome to say the least.
I have the car programmed to operate the wiper when in reverse, that works fine. My thinking is it's a dodgy wiper switch.
What does the collective think? Is it a known fault?
