Rattles in rear hatch

I have seen a few discussions about a rattly tailgate on Caymans and my S is suffering with the same issue. Most people say go back to your Porsche Centre to have it tweaked, but a 90 mile round trip seems a long way to go for a rattle to be fixed.

Does anyone know of a simple DIY fix for this annoying problem?

There are two rubber bungs in each corner of the tailgate. They are threaded and very easy to adjust. I simply unscrewed mine approx. quarter turn to increase the contact pressure and no more rattles...

Great tip - fixed my rattle too, many thanks!

I have just started to experience this rattling too, especially over the speed lines you get when nearing a roundabout. It is as simply as you say ?? Simply adjust the two rubber stoppers ??
