Re 993 can anyone tell me where and who can service a 993 turbo

There's 2 guys at Porsche HQ in Reading who love the 993 turbo and also do a brilliant job but it's a schlep to get there, and their hourly rates and parts prices (even with the "legacy model" discount) are higher than indies.
Take care where you go; the turbo needs knowledgable and expert care. And with prices on the ascent the wrong stamp in the book will hurt value. But then I guess you realise this hence your question..

I can highly recommend Tony at Carrera Engineering. tel:01992 892333.. He is based in Nazeing Essex and looks after both my Boxster & my husbands GT3. He is also the Boxster register tech guy.
