Re-building after a re-spray

Well, the slow process of putting things back of the body shell which is a 944S shape, which looks a nice shinny red now!

Just 2 question for those that have been there before;

1) the front light connectors to spot lights and indicators these are located behind the bumper, the rubber boots on the white lighting connectors have perished with age these do have a part number on them, I've checked Porsche parts and appears they're not available as separate items. I would like to replace them with the correct fitment and not a quick fix perhaps another vehicle range fit these connectors, I don't want self amalgamating tape bodge .....Anyone else found a replacement to this probably common problem now with vehicle age?

2) Front wings do or don't you use the grey sealant......if so any help on this and what to use will be well received.

No doubt as I go along there will be more things to ask you all :)

Cheers

I used 3M polyurethane seam sealer, comes in a cartridge that goes into a sealant gun.
Put a nice bead on the A-pillar where it meets the wing and bolted it on.

It remains flexible when it dries. If you don't use some sort of sealant then I would expect water to find it's way into the A-pillar.
