Hi,

Forthcoming Events.

October 5 Run to N. Wales.
The route for this event has yet to be finalised, but as this edition of PP goes to print the plan is to meet at 0930 at the M56 Chester Services, in readiness for a 1000 departure; drive to Portmeirion, for a two-hour lunch and sightseeing stop-over; then return on a more southerly route (with a stop for tea) to Whitchurch, where we will disburse. (Any change to the start time and venue will be posted on the Forum.).

October 8 Club Night.
At The Deanwater Hotel: featuring a presentation on track craft by Porsche racing driver Marcus Carniel. Newcomers to track days and more experienced participants alike, and even other competition drivers, will all benefit from attending this presentation. So make it a must to come along both in preparation for your 2009 track sorties and to demonstrate appreciation to Marcus for giving up his valuable time to talk to us.

November 12 Club Night.
At The Deanwater Hotel: devoted to our Planning Workshop - starting at 2030 - for R5's calendar of events for 2009. Please make a special effort to attend, since this will be your opportunity to tell the Committee what you liked or disliked about the events we organised for 2008, and to get reactions from fellow members to any specific events or outings you would like included in the coming year, or ideas for speakers or topics for presentation at monthly Club Nights. The Committee will also be looking for volunteers to organise (or just help with) an event.
