Hi,

Re: when asked of ideas for venues etc at meetings.

Been to a classic car show at port sunlight in the wirral, looks a really nice setting and plenty to see and do, has a museum, art gallery (could spend hrs in there - plenty to see), also has a nice cafe/restaurant, a good village green to park our cars, maybe an idea for the future.

Oulton Park's always been a great place and no problems getting in or out either.

Also Tatton knows how to manage crowds.

Yes i agree oulton is also a great venue, just makes a change to go somewhere new, been to tatton 10's of times, again its a nice change to see somewhere different, access was easy via the M56,M53 then A41.

Make sure you've got locking wheelnuts!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: ...only joking, sounds good![;)]

I cannot say for sure, but i'd of thought our cars would be safe, it appeared a very quiet and secluded part of town.

Good job you did not miss your turning off the A41[;)]

I'm from manchester, was the first time i visited port sunlight, it did appear quiet-ish and i was quite impressed with the village area, where does the A41 go then ????, do i take it there is no interest in a venue here.

Not sure about where A41 ends up - think it's either The Gorbals in Glasgow or Moss Side :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Only having some fun Nick. I need to get out more!

Rod (P.S. have a look at my controversial comment on the Fuchs thread on the 993 forum. "I feel the need, the need for ... information!")[;)]

Port Sunlight is a nice area, unfortunately surrounded by a few less desirable ones, but might certainly be a different place to try.

I think it's a good idea and somewhere different. Maybe put it to the Regional Sec or someone to drum up some interest. I'd certainly come along.
