hi, help needed, currently noticed the red light flashing when start motor, it wont allow me to use volume or anything it seems like its locked but still playing muswci..

any ideas pls, its a boxster s 2002
 
I know others who have suffered this phenomonon. Remove fuse supplying power to audio unit and then put it back again. Usually problem solved.
 
Ditto, my 2003 Boxster with the sound system plus (not Bose) had the radio display freeze syndrome usually after a change in weather from warm to cold (condensation forming conditions) I think I used to reseat the fuse for the sound system amp identified on the inside of fuse box lid in drivers footwell. Paul
