Hi,

Well after 4 911's, I am really quite taken with the MY01 BOXSTER 'S' I purchased last week.

It handles better than my 996 C4, or appears to !

Just really taken with the car, and hopefully I will get over not having that '911' thing anymore.........

Mark after 4 911's between 1978-1996 I purchased my 1st Boxster followed by a further 3 [8D] I have never once regretted the switch, even after being loaned a 996 C2 for a week / 500 miles at the end of which I thought I was a 996 convert!! [] but just 1 mile back in the Boxster and my 911 days were confirmed as well and truly done & dusted [;)]

My current example MY03 is the best to date and is quite a bit different from my MY00 "S" it replaced. I guess it is the normal Porsche evolution and fine tuning factor that has got the car to its current final position before being replaced.

The original Boxsters were 100% on the button from day one and now some 8 years later things have just been honed to perfection. I hope the NEW version continues the Porsche tradition of always moving the game forward and never sideways.

Enjoy your "S" and never forget its probably the Best Sports Car In The World regardless of price or power [:D]
