Rear ARB Rose Jointed droplinks

Evening all !

Several years ago whilst refreshing my suspension I purchased a pair of rose jointed drop links to replace the Figure of 8 rubber bushed Porsche originals. At the time they were ~ £130 including a couple of nuts and spacers.

At the MOT last year there was some play in them, not enough to fail but you could the odd clunk.

I took the one of the old ones to the Autosport show in January and then priced up/ sized up the appropriate parts. Consensus from the manufacturers I showed them was they were cheap Jap imports.....

Anyhow, long story short - little of ordering/ speccing up, two joints and 10 (only available in packs of 10) half lock nuts - £43.00 delivered. I should add that these ones are the highest spec McGill Motorsport produce as well.

The only slight issue is that the shanks of the Male Rod are quite long and need cutting down by ~ 1/2" then file and run a nut backwards and forwards over the thread.

Anyhow if anyone wants a pic of new drops links and also the part numbers to order them, drop me a PM or ring me on 07540 193874

Of course you could just make me some Chris? I bet you feel like you own a little bit of my car now [:D]

Cost you £60 + p&p and yes technically I do even if it's only 2 clutch cover bolts and a clutch fork shaft !

true - so do I get a stake in yours when you fit that TPS?

Thanks for the email Chris.

Are you applying any preload to the bar at all or hat running them at the standard length?

I'm just running them at standard length ie so they are the same length as the original 8 shaped rubber bonded Porsche parts
